Welcome to Accessible Medicine Hat
Accessible Medicine Hat is an online resource of meaningful accessibility information about City owned facilities, transportation, parking, services, and upgrading. It is meant to provide users with the information they need to plan, access, and use City facilities, programs, services, and natural areas.
All City facilities on the Accessible Medicine Hat pages have been reviewed in detail by the Advisory Committee on Disability Issues (ACDI) to determine their level of accessibility.
- Those facilities with a universal accessibility symbol beside them will meet the needs of the vast majority of users with and without disabilities. For detailed descriptions and pictures of accessibility features please explore individual facility pages in detail.
- Most City facilities have some level of accessibility and will meet many users needs. Detailed descriptions and pictures of those features are provided so users can better determine whether the facility will meet their needs. The City is actively making improvements to better serve the public. We update this site as improvements are made.
Please take the time to explore the Accessible Medicine Hat information and use the feedback page to help us determine its usefulness and make suggestions for future resources and the type of information and formats that would be useful to you.
If you need accessibility features for work or play, then we need your feedback. This site has been designed to provide written and visual accessibility information about accessing City owned facilities, infrastructure, and services. Please contact Leslie Jerry at 403.502.8086 or e-mail firstname.lastname@example.org for any questions, concerns or recommendations you may have.
