• Utilities are disconnected
• Professional demolition practices are adhered to
• Asbestos is handled properly

Prior to demolition, the contractor or owner is responsible to inspect for the presence of asbestos. If asbestos is encountered, Workplace Health and Safety must be notified to ensure the material is handled appropriately.
